CLEANING GUIDES · TULSA, OK
By JD’s Gleam Team · Published October 3, 2026
A turnover runs more smoothly when the host and cleaner agree on the same checklist. Cleaning, laundry, linen replacement, restocking and maintenance are different responsibilities. Write down who handles each one before the first guest changeover.

Include the address, size, bed/bath layout, guest areas to clean, checkout and check-in windows, entry method, parking and the person who can answer questions. Describe any locked cupboards or rooms that are outside the work. Provide the reservation calendar early and flag changes promptly.
Identify the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, shared-space and floor tasks on the host-approved checklist. Note how pillows, furniture and host-owned items should be left. A room presentation reference can be useful when you already have one, but the agreed written instructions should still explain the work.
Ordinary turnover cleaning and a periodic reset serve different needs. Tell the team about heavier buildup, long stays or neglected detail so the right service can be discussed. The word “turnover” does not automatically include every Deep Cleaning task.
| Responsibility | What the host and cleaner should agree |
|---|---|
| Bed linen | Who supplies clean sets, where they are stored, which beds are changed and where used items go |
| Laundry | Whether washing/drying is included, who does it, where it happens and the time required |
| Towels | The clean quantity per room, storage location and collection of used towels |
| Consumables | Who buys supplies, who replenishes each item and how low stock is reported |
| Dishes and appliances | Whether dishes and appliance interiors are included or separately arranged |
| Readiness communication | Who receives completion information and whether a particular check or photo is agreed |
| Damage and maintenance | The host contact and any specifically agreed documentation; cleaning does not replace a maintenance inspection |
Provide the actual checkout and check-in times and the work needed between them. Property size, access delays, travel, guest condition and optional laundry can affect the available window. Same-day service must be confirmed for the property and schedule; it should not be assumed from an advertised turnover service.
A repeatable turnover list makes ordinary reservations easier to plan. Periodic attention to buildup or additional surfaces can be scheduled separately when needed. Compare Deep Cleaning and discuss how a reset fits the rental, rather than quietly adding a larger job to a short turnover.
Our Vacation Rental Cleaning is arranged around the host-approved scope, access and confirmed schedule. Laundry, linen changes, restocking, damage documentation and other host-specific requests must be expressly agreed. Supplying a clear responsibility sheet helps the quote reflect the work you need.
